Tour to the Puritama hot springs

The "Puritama hot springs" is a place where the experience of nature, tranquility and its thermal waters are transformed into something unique, ideal for spending moments of relaxation in its 8 thermal pools with temperatures between 25-33°C, which have therapeutic properties due to their important concentration of minerals, including calcium, magnesium, lithium and boron.

Muscle and joint relief: They help reduce pain associated with rheumatic conditions, arthritis, and muscle tension.

Location : The Puritama Hot Springs are located within a canyon on the western slope of the Andes Mountains at 3,500 meters above sea level. To reach the pools below, you must walk 500 meters, enjoying a wonderful Andean landscape with lush vegetation and a view of the Puritama River, which originates in the Puritama Conservation Reserve. Its waters come from underground springs heated by one of the many magma chambers in the Andes Mountains near the surface.

P.S. For people with reduced mobility, the elderly, or children under 3 years old, depending on availability, transportation can be arranged by park rangers.
